About Greg

Greg Ciesielski joined HarbourVest in 2007 and is currently Managing Director and head of the firm’s Credit Secondaries team, focusing on global secondary investments across a variety of transaction types. Based in Boston, he has also gained international experience at the firm’s London and Hong Kong offices.

Greg has played a pivotal role in several major secondary transactions, including the acquisition of SVG plc’s investment portfolio. He also serves on the advisory boards of several funds, such as Inflexion Private Equity Partners and Triton Partners. In addition, he leads the firm’s sustainable investing initiatives for secondary investment activities globally.

Prior to joining HarbourVest, Greg worked at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. as an investment banking analyst in the Global Healthcare Group in New York.

Greg received a BS in Business with a concentration in Finance from Indiana University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
